• We offer a full library of books, games and videos
• We provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space in which youth ages 14 to 24 can explore their feelings, learn communication skills, gain a sense of self-identity, and develop self-esteem.
• We refer Youth to pre-screened professional and community resources as necessary.
• We promote healthy and open communication between parents, family members, teachers and the community
• We promote the development of leadership skills
• We address prevention issues related to HIV/AIDS, STD’s, and substance abuse, through group discussion, youth-to-youth outreach, education, and mentoring
• We offer free, confidential HIV testing in conjunction with Desert AIDS Project
• We offer vocational, career and employment counseling.
• We provide assistance with resume writing and job searches
• We coordinate fun social events such as a Youth Prom, talent shows, and holiday celebrations.
• We provide a place for young people to meet others, have fun, participate in special events, talk, and make friends.
• We provide opportunities for art and writing projects for creative youth
• We support Safe Schools Initiatives and Gay Straight Alliances
• We promote PFLAG
• We support Safe House/Safe Place
